Anyone else find the hate this game's trailer is getting on YouTube kinda strange? I think it looks pretty neat, though I will need to see more. But this thing has over 1/3 dislikes on YouTube.

It's not on the Vita. Or the PS3. Or the PS4.

But there is also no reason for Nintendo to release it next year, the New 3DS is there to maintain the 3DS family for a little while more, and in the same way there is no reason for them to break the tradition, Nintendo consoles have released either 2 years after reveal(pre-GC) or 1 year after reveal(GC and onwards).

And who knows Ninty may pull a Wii on us, and tease it in next year's E3, properly reveal it at the following E3, and release it the next year's holidays.  

But whatever the case, no way the NX is coming out next year, there is no reason for it, the New 3DS is keeping the 3DS line afloat for a little while more, and the Wii U still has some energy left on it, the earlierst NX could release is 2017.

You can't seriously believe that the N3DS will keep the 3DS brand "afloat" for two whole years. Of course it's coming out next year. The 3DS is on a quick decline, and the Wii U is already not a factor. They need something else, and fast. That thing is the NX, and it'll be next year.

Project X Zone 2, Final Fantasy Explorers, Bravely Second, this, the Wii U just may get some love into 2017 after all.

Rathalos needs some love too. He isn't evil at heart. Look, he had a difficult childhood. He was made fun of at school from the Diablos and Deviljho. And as he sold Weed in his youth together with his only friend Barioth, he was catched by Police and Barioth totally betrayed him by saying Rathalos did it all. And finally he got the ugliest wife. Look at Rathian, who wouldn't have a bad mood, if your wife is that ugly. In secret Rathalos loved Gigginox, but Gigginox didn't even speak with him.

So Rathalos may seem to be evil, but in his core he has a soft heart!

Seeing how the release of the New 3DS have made the 3DS family to be above last year, and doing better than what is considered its peak year, then yes it can keep it afloat for atleas two more whole years, specially since the New 3DS has taken the 3DS family from a decline to being up YoY even above it's peak year.  Even if the Wii U has no foreseeable chance of reviving from the dead, we shouldn't count it out just yet,  Nintendo is a company you should never bet against, so lets see how things play out, they can always pull out a Pokemon or a Wii Sports, and take the world by storm pushing the console in which appear to great sales even if it is in the middle or end of its life.  No, they don't, their consoles can still be pushed for some years.  The only possible way for that to work is for the NX to be a "Fourth Pillar" for Nintendo, which they haven't mentioned at all, so NX is coming in 2017 at the earliest, Nintendo can be crazy, but not so crazy as to release a more potent revision of a handheld with exclusive games to it coming, to simple replace it the followin years, they didn't wasted time in extra R&D for a mere year.
