Sigh, I really shouldn't have to explain this since. When you said never had a chance, one assumes you meant against the PS4. Where Kowen responded saying neither did the Vita. Because Vita main competition is....ding ding the 3DS.
Add: Don't even compare it to the PSP, you will just make yourself sad.

Worth noting that the PS4 version was a full priced game (~$80), so not only were its numbers respectable, they also made more off each sale.
and Disgaea 5 flopped worse than I ever imagined. This is a series that has pushed 6 figures in Japan with every entry. I do hope that fans are still interested in the title in the coming weeks after they finish Bloodborne.
