Crap. PS4's not gonna get any worthwhile exclusives for awhile now, huh? Dammit Pachter.

90% of the time this guy predicts something, the opposite happens. Like, he said both 3DS and Wii U would do well, and....eeesh.

I am of course over-exaggerating, but he is wrong about big things an awful lot. As a PS4 owner who's been impatiently waiting for the valve on the exclusives spout to loosen, I hope this isn't one of those times.

Buy a PS4 if you want games

Why?? ps4 has by far the biggest exclusive library this year, xbox has no japanese support and sony has way more indies, plus spreads it's AAA games out over the entire year. MLb the show, Bloodborne, The order, and grim fandango already this year.

Why??? It's true...This year already we had MLb the show, The order, bloodborne, grim fandango...in 3 months. With japanese support ps4 has a far bigger exclusive library coming.

It's not like Xbox 1, Vita, 3DS or Wii U do not have exclusive games...
The only exclusives I'm interested in on the PS4 are Don't Starve, Teraway Unfolded, StreeFighter 5 and Gran Turismo, though for the latter two there are perfectly good or better alternatives such as Dead Or Alive/Tekken, Forza or Smash Bros.

Therefore personally I'm still leaning towards getting an X1 at end of year, by like 2 exclusives. I have no care for popularity, okay that's a lie, I do not officially own a U in public lmao.

No one cares what you would rather buy, not sure why you mention that. Ps4 has a much bigger library that is fct, with the likes of persona, Disgaea and japanese support Ps4 is a no brainer imo.

Obviously it has most games and is selling more than anything, except for occasional 3DS weeks but overall still better.  Not sure why you mentioned bold, pretty ironic and I don't care about what you say ;p

I am slowly coming to the conclusion that the PC is the way to go moving forward. Bloodborne is tempting, but the PS4 can't even seem to run THAT smoothly. Don't even get me started on the Xbox One. I wish someone would release a console with some power for around $400.

I'm not sure what Nintendo was thinking with the Wii U either, it's got some great games so I leave it alone for the most part, but this year we may finally see a current gen multiplat worth buying and the Wii U will fall even further into it's own niche market.

Wow I've become one cynical fucker. Like back when I realised that the Wii was just an overclocked Gamecube. I felt like I'd been tricked. At least back then I had the 360 (a real console) to turn to.

Any game thats not on a competing console is an exclusive for me.

I feel the same way about PS4. Littlebigplanet 3 to me is an exclusive even though its on PS3.

At this point in time I would say buy a PS4 primary and a Wii U for exclusives. That is my current position anyways.

What sold me on the 360 was the JRPGs.
