I certainly don't see it that way but I do see where you are coming from. I have observed this on multiple occasions.

My guess is Nintendo has established itself with the casual market which is perhaps dominantly kids. So most games are judged to be targeting such audience.

What about games like Tearaway, LittleBigPlanet, The Pupperteer, Ratchet & Clank, Sly Cooper... 

Those games as well. Although they are targetting kids.

I was illustrating the fact that not all colorful games on MS and Sony consoles target kids. Although Ori could be targetting kids... I don't know. It is true that I haven't played a 2D game this fun since my childhood. xD

To be honest, I've never seen anyone say something like that!

Yeah the old, your opinion is different than mine, therefore...nonsense!  Nevermind that numerous individuals have actually responded logically, and the OP has said zero in reponse.  Really shines a light on the reasons for this threads existence.

Dear OP:

Why do you go on a videogame forum to ask about the opinions of 14 year old casual gamers?
On forums like this, the very small percentage of users who agree with the statements in your
post get shouted down pretty quickly.

Quite another thing is this: Are the people who shout down Nintendo games the same people
who are excited by games like Tearaway or Little Big Planet? I somehow doubt it.
