There are serious double standards when it comes to Nintendo. There has been for years now. Even back in the SNES days when it was Sonic vs Mario. It got worse over the last couple gens when it has become all mega violence and gunplay.

Those are normally gamers that dont find enjoyment in nintendo games anymore but instead of saying that, they rather use as an excuse that nintendo games are for kids. Its just an inmature thinking.

The thing is that those games aren't for kids. They're family friendly. That's a nuance that I think is very important.

On a PS console, having that kind of game sure is a breath of fresh air. Since there are so few of them. But I agree that those who say that would say the same about those games on their own systems.

Pikmin has more depth than battlefield, but battlefield is for "hardcore gamers" and pikmin is a "kiddy franchise". why? because of the colors and cartoony characters. So far I can say the same about splatoon vs the order.
