People look at things differently. There are too many people argue over shades of grey. All video games are immature to me... they're video games, after all.

and how can anybody think this game is good? sure the idea behind it was nice, and it had some nice parts, but they made a lot of mistakes nobody can defend and the core mechanic isnt working so well.   they just didnt had the balls to make a real alien game, they had to make to many compromises to sale to the casuals...

Konami has roughly 5450 employees.  So, clearly you're wrong.

konami is nothing without kojima, PES has problems, castlevania is dead. DDR is no more in the west, they only have MGS---

Okay I see what you mean by mature, I thought you were speaking about the rating of the game.

Curious though, what games do you consider "mature" then.

The way you set up the OP and title makes it sound like you're asking all gamers why they think this way, which just by looking at through this thread you can tell, very little of us do.

no, the question is for everybody. "a question for everybody" since that is a huge opinion in the gaming community, gamers are free to say why so many people think like that or "it's not like that" or "it's like that because of this" I'm not generalizing.

Im not saying it was your intention, just explaining why to some people it might come off like you're generalizing.

Also I wouldn't say it's a huge opinion or even that a lot of people think this way. I think it's more of a vocal minority, usually casuals who mainly play whatever game is currently trendy.

Bloodborne is 93% metacritic now and i am sure i will love or like it. Alien isolation was a great game who was scarry and its mature. We havent seen survival horror games for a while like clock tower or haunting ground having hide and seek gameplay.

PT is out there and it will stay and was an even more scarry experience.

The evil within is rated M for mature. It has an inttresting mature storyline about psychological enverioment. The gameplay is also good and has a lot of different enemies and bosses. The DLC plays like alien isolation

I don't think this thread is aimed for me. I'm not a real gaemir you see. I got Hotline Miami for the colorful blood, lush disgusting pixel art and vibrant commentary on video game violence. Now I'm just enduring the frustrating difficulty which is more fitting for a hardcore geamer when I'd much rather finish FF VI on my phone that I haven't played in months.
