You know, at first glance your last statement is preposterous, but it's pretty true. They can do anything they want at this point.

OT: I think Metroid and SMTxFE from Nintendo and GT and GoW from Sony are essentials. Even if they're not gameplay footage, a teaser is better than nothing.

A GT7 teaser at E3 wouldn't surprise me, but given we only got GT6 in 2013, there's no way in hell GT7 is coming this year.

Definitely not this year, but maybe 2016. Depends how much effort they put into the car models. Will we see the same old upscaled PS2 cars, car noises, and tracks? Who knows. I hope we don't; but that also means waiting longer.

They all need big E3's.

Sony least of all. They are dominating in sales.

I don't know why people think uncharted being delayed means no content for Q4 on PS4. The number of internal studios that have been working on ps4 since 2012 without having released anything yet means is highly unlikely there is nothing ready to pick up the slack.

RIP Dad 25/11/51 - 13/12/13. You will be missed but never forgotten.

Nintendo need to shows another game play trailer of Zelda U and Star Fox U.

Sony, a first party rpg is what I want from them.
Nintendo, if there's still no info on smt x fire emblem, they shouldn't bother even showing up.

I really hope Ninty's E3 will be a great one! Sony, on the other hand, doesn't really need to have an amazing E3!

I really don't think it matters. PS4 wont lose it lead globally, and Sony is smart enough to build an insurmountable lead (so far).during the regular season to come out on top in the US. It really just up to Microsoft to claw back whatever they can during the holiday. Sony will have a great show and they have figured out that they can ignore Microsoft's holiday fire sales and games as long as it has coverage through the rest of the year.

If Microsoft wants to stage a comeback victory (In the US), what they need to do is to start spreading out their games throughout the rest of the year. They are just too wide open for to much of the year.  Being cheaper isn't enough if you don't have a compelling game to purchase the system for 10 months out of the year.

Metroid and Animal Crossing would be nice buys. Pokken wont get very much hype and i'm a fighting game fanatic. That game hasn't gained any major stripes in the fighting game community yet.

It´s a Pokemon game, if they announce a WiiU port, you can be sure that there will be hype.

And you should not underestimate something like Mario Maker, it can be a huge surprise.

Yeah, but its an actual fighting game made by a real fighting game company. This hurts their chances.

I reckon that (as usual) gaming media will give MS the rough end of the stick. They'll spend some time highlighting synergies between Xbox, Windows 10 and mobile, and gaming websites will crucify them for it.

You know very well its the games i'm talking about though. They wont get crucified for that. The media right now is praising them on their Xbox One deals even though their major games are scarce until the third and fourth quarter. Nintendo only has two major games coming out.

Metroid = Automatic win

Metroid is one of those lower tier game franchises that gets lots of praise from gaming sites, but has really never been very good. Not since Super Metroid at least. Metroid Prime to this day remains Nintendo's most overrated game of all time.
