The Wii U will be below that number. 5 million is a number that the Wii U will never reach this late in its lifespan.

I don't think it could sell 5m this year if Iwata personally bundled a free blowjob coupon with every console. It's too far gone at this point

If they went all the way down to $149 I think they would sell well over 5 million. I think $199+ good bundling would get them to 5 million pretty easily. So long as the price cut is global.

Aren't they still selling the Wii U at a loss, or is that just a myth? I've also heard that the GamePad accounts for quite bit of the cost. Like, almost the entire proposed $150.

Games wise 2014 was bigger, Mario Kart + SSB are way bigger than Zelda. Hell Mario Kart is basically on the same level as Zelda in terms of sales alone so I don't games that will come out this year will make a big difference in sales. The only thing would probably be a $100+ price drop.
