I'd like to see the Wave Race and 1080 franchises return on Fusion. If they can work it out with EA another Nintendo Sim City would be awesome too. I'd lobby for Nintendo to buy the rights to the James Bond license too (it's available and just sitting there, why not). Maybe get a new Soul Calibur game for launch (with Zelda and Fire Emblem characters), since Nintendo is so close with Namco these days. Continue to support the Bayonetta franchise and greenlight Bayonetta 3. Maybe even consider making a new NBA Courtside if they can't get Take 2 to commit the NBA 2K series. Get more diversity in the lineup, more genres and styles of games please. Too many Japanese games, broaden out a bit.

Ya I would like them to have a more broad range of racers, so games like Wave Race, 1080, F-Zero, Excite would be nice additions. I would also like to see the Mario Kart team work on a new style racer since they would no longer need to make 2 seperate entries, maybe something that's kind of a mix between Crazy Taxi and Need for Speed in terms of visuals and gameplay, I think that would be a pretty neat game.
I've thought for awhile too that Nintendo should try to secure the next Soul Calibur as an exclusive, the last one underperformed so I think Namco would be willing to do make it if Nintendo were willing to publish it outside of Japan, it would also give Nintendo a solid fighting game that differs from Smash Bros. Another game I think they should try to secure is the next Ninja Gaiden, the last one underperformed so I think it would be a nice addition to Nintendo's platforms and it seems like they are trying to build a fanbase of hack n slash titles. Ninja Gaiden reboot, Bayonetta 3, Hyrule Warriors 2 and Devil's Third 2 is a nice start.
As for sports titles, I think Nintendo should make a whole line of sports series and ditch Mario Sports but I don't think they should try competing with Madden/FIFA/NBA 2k by making overly realistic sports titles. The next Punch Out could be somewhat of a middle ground between the Wii version and Fight Night, they can do the same with other sports like a soccer game that's a nice middle ground between Mario Strikers and FIFA, do the same with Football, Golf, Tennis, Baseball, Basketball, release 1-2 sports games per year.
Also Nintendo should try getting some more shooters but not the typical Call of Duty style shooter. Like u said, they could acquire the rights to James Bond or they could try getting whoever owns the rights to Turok or Timesplitters to let them publish them. James Bond, Turok, Timesplitters, Devil's Third, Splatoon gives them a decent range of different types of shooters.
Overall Nintendo needs to try getting more types of games that appeal to the west since they already dominate Japan, things like sports, racing, shooters, fighting, action can really help them out.
