If they keep the standard two analog sticks and just add the c-stick I would be fine with that.

Not particularly, but I do want the GC face button layout back. It was so good, why change it?!

Nintendo is the only manufacturer that can leave certain buttons to die only to reintroduce them in a later generation.

Who actually likes to have different sized pair of analog sticks?

Who likes controlling the camera with a mouse? Or who likes playing Call Of Duty with motion controls? They're out there.

For fps games, the mouse is widely thought of as the best way to control the camera

PC demands mouse. But motion controls aren't as prevelant in many of today's games. But two different analog sticks would be a permanent thing for only few people while the rest love symmetrical sticks

I got my Xbox 360 controller hooked up to my PC. And while motion controls are not prevelant, Blops2 and Ghosts for Wii U allowed for motion controls because people liked them so much.

The thing all your example have in common is that they are optional. Having physical input on a controller is standard and not open to options. Most everyone today are accustomed to symmetrical sizes analog sticks. The only reason it returned on 3DS is because putting a second circle pad would change the overall layout of the right side of the handheld.

So are the symetrical sized analog sticks.

Some may feel the same with motion controls, or the c stick.

Absolutely not. Especially not on the handhelds. The New 3DS C-stick absolutely sucks when compared to the circle pad pro.

The c-stick should have stayed with the GCN. It's not even needed for smash. The second analog stick on the pro controller works just as well.

Yes! C-stick needs to die. While the left pad/stick on the 3DS isn't great, it's exponentially better than the c-stick/nub.

motion controls and c-stick aren't that popular. its pretty much fact that mouse is better than controller.

I actually love the c-stick on the New 3DS, but I'd prefer them to just design their future hardware in mind for two analog sticks (or pads).
