PC demands mouse. But motion controls aren't as prevelant in many of today's games. But two different analog sticks would be a permanent thing for only few people while the rest love symmetrical sticks

I got my Xbox 360 controller hooked up to my PC. And while motion controls are not prevelant, Blops2 and Ghosts for Wii U allowed for motion controls because people liked them so much.

The thing all your example have in common is that they are optional. Having physical input on a controller is standard and not open to options. Most everyone today are accustomed to symmetrical sizes analog sticks. The only reason it returned on 3DS is because putting a second circle pad would change the overall layout of the right side of the handheld.
