No because it's good only for bad games.

It's used prominently in Smash Bros Melee.

In other words, I agree with you completely.

Lol.

No, it was always a half-arsed, shitty excuse for a second analogue stick, and that holds true for the one on the New 3DS too.

This.

I much preferred the CPP over the N3DS' C Stick.

I almost wish I'd gotten an old 3DS with a CCP instead of the New 3DS, except then I wouldn't have the stable 3D effect, and since I move my head a lot when I play, (not to mention my whole freaking body) that's kind of essential haha.

I hated the way the CPP made the 3DS feel. I had it and used it for a quick second on Resident Evil Revelations 3DS, but immediately took it off. That said, if it was built in and didn't make the screen feel off I might be inclined to agree.

No. I was even considering taking the analog stick off a old nunchuck and using that to replace the C Stick on my Wavebird. But then I got lazy and just put my GameCube away instead.

If you think Smash is a bad game, I would question your opinion of bad games vs others.

You're planning to buy a new system to play with an inferior control layout a game you already own and have beated so I'll take that as a compliment.

No, Super Smash Bros for Wii U (and 3DS) uses it as well, and other great titles in the gamecube library (I can list them all if you want) also used it. Not to mention the new 3DS. Way to blow things out of proportion. Take it however you want, it's a very shallow compliment if that is your only arguement.

And the point of it isn't to use it on old games, it's the revival of the c stick for new games.

You didn't get what I was talking about.

Absolutely not. Especially not on the handhelds. The New 3DS C-stick absolutely sucks when compared to the circle pad pro.

The c-stick should have stayed with the GCN. It's not even needed for smash. The second analog stick on the pro controller works just as well.

But muh familiarity. Don't make me adapt to new stuff... :p
