It's a comparison of visual appeal, not technology.

UC2 (along with UC3 and TLOU) is a great example of relatively simplistic graphics being made to look great, but it doesn't take long for the illusion to drop and for me to start seeing passed the smoke and mirrors. What's left is a title that's 7th gen origins are glaringly obvious, which makes it hard for me to appreciate the quality of its presentation.

Doesn't help that i'm an IQ whore :p I'd love to see an Uncharted remaster collection.

Of course, because it still looks better than most (Wii U)8 gen games.

It's the art direction. A game can have the most advanced technical specs with the highest res textures but if it has bad art design then it's all a waste. That's why I feel GTA V is one of the best-looking games ever, even on PS3! It might be a 720p jaggy mess but the art design and detail in the world is incredible.

yeah people need to realize that it's not all technical.  graphics are about craftsmanship as well as specs.  It's not so much assembling a computer as much as painting a masterpiece.

Actually... not really. Practically every 8th gen game so far looks better.

Not to me. Practically every 8th gen game I've played looks better than UC2

This, plus Uncharted 3 looks better then 2 even though overall 2 is still the best overall Uncharted game.
