Forums - Gaming - Do You Use Walkthrough's If You Get Stuck In A Game?

No. I only use collectable/ side mission guides to find out if there are any noteworthy items or collectables or sidemissions coming up before playing a mission for most RPG and open world games.

Sometimes for cellectibles

If i get really stuck, I head straight for youtube

PSN & XBOX GT : cutzman25

I used to get them all the time because there are things I'd miss otherwise. But these days it doesn't matter as much to me. Probably because most hidden collectibles are now MTs or DLC bonuses.

A little bit, if i get stuck pretty rarely.

Only for collectible though.

If I really need to use a walkthrough, then I will use it! Plain and simple.

I will also use one on a second or third playthrough just so I can finish that damn platinum trophy, or get the best items along the way.

Yes. I almost always have one handy while completing side quests in TLoZ games. Guides help you fill in those missing links, like finishing that one mask quest or nabbing that last heart piece.

I don't like using them, but I do for certain games. Suikoden 3 has far too many characters with too many context sensitive events. Sometimes you can even trigger them in the wrong window, so I get help for that.

I typically don't get help gameplay or boss battles. I just look to find when I need to do certain actions. I do enjoy not using guides though.

Yes but I try to keep the amount of walkthroughs I read to a bare minimun, I don't want my epeen to shrink.
