This is not a direct confirmation. Changed the thread title. If Satya or anyone at Microsoft came out and said "Halo Master Chief Collection is coming to PC", then the title would be fine. Until then however, this is only speculation.

Don't see how it's that big of a deal for it coming to PC...
Plus that was posted months ago.
If Halo 5 comes to PC in year one then there's a problem, but more games to PC, why not.

I said " almost " :)
Predictions for end of 2014 HW sales:
PS4: 17m XB1: 10m WiiU: 10m Vita: 10m
I just can't see Halo MCC coming to PC.
It's still interesting on why Microsoft would just put a picture of Master Chief like that, in a way that implies his game will be on PC, like they don't even care about Xbox exclusives or something.
"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."
I don't get it being a problem if Halo 5 comes to PC, I mean why give MCC to PC if you;re not going to give 5?, the MCC collection are the titled main story Halo games, after the number 4 you count to 5, releasing all 4 onto PC would naturally mean they would and should release 5, the same with other games porting to PC, don't release just one and hope players don't expect the rest, that's just downright teasing and annoying.
I wouldn't mind getting an XB1 for Halo 5 but if MCC is going to PC then I've no reason to believe that 5 will remain exclusive at all, this is the thing phil spencer is supposed to be combatting, they are supposed to keep their exclusives, not port them over and lose them, they need to cater to the PC platform they have a hold on with new talent, new devs and studios and old ones, not relying on turning their console into a 3rd party multiplatform machine that only has unique titles for up to 1-2 years and then ports them all as some peace offering to PC players, they could make so much more money pandering to both without having to chop the other to pieces.
That and it will create demand, it would have been better if MS keeps MCC exclusive since it's a selling point, if it goes to PC I've one less reason to buy the XB1, the same thing would happen if WIi U let it's own exclusives go to another platform.
Also this will just add more fuel to the console wars fire and MS would be stupid to do that.
Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.

They probably feel most of the xboxs it could shift have been. So now they make a bit of extra revenue. They'll probably do the same with halo 5. No pc release at the start and then when it's moved almost all xboxs it can they will release it late on pc.
Actually, if you take a look at the tweet:
"Some of my favorite @Microsoft tech from 2014, sketched on a Surface Pro 3. Look forward to what’s ahead in 2015. "
The content in the picture is referring to Microsoft products that were shown off and/or released in 2014, MCC being one of them. The last sentence is just asking people to look forward to the new stuff coming this year, so I really don't believe this is some kind of indirect confirmation of MCC coming to PC. It may still be a possibility, but I don't think this pic is hinting at it.
What a weird way to announce something, lol
