This wouldn't be a bad thing if they allow cross platform play between the X1 and PC. The bigger the user base, the better the online will be. They just gotta make sure that the online is fair for all.

See, that's kind of a problem. Alot of console players don't want to play with PC gamers in shooters because mouse and keyboard is a more precise way to quickly aim at an enemy. Console players would get wrecked by PC players. If they were to have crossplay it'd have to be optional for console players, allow console players to decide if they can be matched with both other console players and PC players, or just other console players.


A K/M option for X1 would balance that out. Or require controllers for PC play. I'm sure that would be met with fury from the PC crowd, but it would make for fair online.

That's how much pc matters to a pro console and pro pc publisher.  17%.

 

I reckon sony will make their older games available through services like ps now.  Already being rolled out on tv's so you never know could come to pc too.

Windows 10 comes to Xbox, Cortana is already there for voice inputs... I don't see how this will be anything of an announcement.

This is old. But yeah looks like it might be come, may be to Win10 only ? Not sure it matters to Win10 or people interested in these games. As I do not think it is a big deal. If new Halo game comes to PC then I guess it will be intresting but rather unlikely.

First yes the was really a need for that last line since console gamers say all the time that "PC doesnt matter" yet when an exclusive goes to jump ship they act like its the end times. and Half the time its the other consoles user base that makes a bigger deal out of it then it is.

2nd Wow i cant believe UBI have 17% of their market on PC now compared to the consoles with PS4 having 21% and X1 having 9% thats some nice growed for PC, Not bad for a company that has shown time and time again that they dont care about PC users by releasing un playable badly optimized games thats full of game breaking bugs.

And yeah i fully believe Sony will launch PSNow on PC for their older games as its a great marketing tool to allow users to play them games and try to bring them users over to their console until PSNow becomes Sonys main Platform..

Yeah so in 1 year the ps4 has outdone the entire pc market for them. Makes you wonder why some people say pc is the biggest market for these companies when it's clearly not.  70% is consoles.

It kind of is, why would they single out a specific title when they could have just written "Master Chief" ?, to write a specific games name by the character says a lot.
