Yet you guys can't name me one similar game to SM3DL/SM3DW, MM, Splatoon, Fire Emblem: Awakening (perma death feature, your crew can fall in love with each other and have babies which you can recruit to your army thanks to a time travel element), XBX (and watch the Japanese direct bevfore you comment on this).

Perma death has been around awhile, Steel Batallion on the original Xbox not only had perma death, it deleted your save file if you died.

I know, it's a staple in Fire Emblem. Which is far older than Steel Batallion.

The general parts of the games are very VERY common. Yes they have their own aspects, but you can apply that to most good games. You however, make it out like Nintendo is the only developer in the world that does this and nobody else ever introduces a unique concept to their game.

Can you name me a game that combined Rock and Roll, 3D Platforming and Real Time Strategy like Brutal Legend?

im pretty sure most SRPGS have this. Final Fantasy Tactics, Suikoden. Hell Heavy Rain has it, even GTA one of your friends could die

Harsh punishment by deleting the save... But it seems Samus really define inovation in such a restrict but also flexible for him way that only Nintendo truly inovates, even when they are just using a lot of things done before, and at most are just joining those elements (and sometimes even that joint was already made before)... as I said maybe he just played very little or ignore non-Nintendo games.

Ultima games in the 80s had Permadeath. So that wasn't something Fire Emblem invented.

Lmao @ bolded.

And Ratchet & Clank is not a platformer. People automatically call any game with cartoony graphics a platformer these days.

Having less dungeons isn't innovative, but having the main focus of the game being time based sidequests IS. Tell me one single game where you relive the same 3 days over and over again (or any other set period of time.). Or a game based around sidequests with exact time schedules. The time travel between OoT and MM is quite a different experience. Anyone who played those games will tell you that.

Ratchet and Clank is a platformer http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ratchet_%26_Clank read up on it.

No it isnt, they both use the Ocarina of time to travel. For arguments sake lets say you are right (you arent). The original point is what had Nintendo done THIS gen to innovate, using a port of a game released on N64 negates your point anyway.

You didnt really discount anything else i said, so im gonna assume you concede defeat on those

There's no point in argueing with you. You say Splatoon is like Portal 2, Metroid Prime is like Halo and MM is like OoT.

Come back when you've played the games then I'll gladly engage in a discussion.

Brutal Legend is quite cool, too bad I got bored midway...

There's an eject button that lights up on the ~2 and a half foot proprietary controller for SB, so, you gotta be kinda daft not to hit it when your mech is dying.  Freakin amazing game though, probably my favorite Xbox exclusive ever.

Did I say anything about that game being innovative or not?
I think it's funny that you assume I think only Nintendo innovates. Hilarious logic.
