Can only count 2006 and first half of 2007. That's 1,5 years from when the 360 released, so half of those games don't count. Sure the start of this generation isn't as good as the start of last generation, but I try to stay positive.

In a couple of years when Watch_Dogs 3, Destiny 3, The Order 1886-3,  The Crew 3 and Driveclub 3 all are GOTY, we might remember the beginning of this generation as epic. Stay positive!

I agree with the OP.

This gen has disapointed. Not in the quantity of the games, as that is the norm in the first 2 years. It has more to do with the leap itself. I just don't feel that this gen is really that much different than the lat one for gameplay. At least not yet anyway. We will have to wait another year or 2 to tell...

Haha the backwards compatibility problem is hilarious. The only system that has it is the system with the predecessor I'd rather forget about.

That was defintiely a huge improvement! It was about time sony started changing their controller's to have more similarities with xbox controllers. I actually prefer the dual shock 4 in some ways! I feel like the touch pad can be really well implemented to be more like a mouse. The xbox one controller is definitely more comfortable but their tied imo because of the touch pad,light,and speakers.

I like the overall shape of the DS4 but prefer the sticks and triggers on the X1 controller.

I thought Advanced Warfare exceeded expectations? Most people just slapped the "crap yearly COD" label on it and it was the best they've released in a few years. Are you sure you're not thinking of Ghosts?

The games will come good, i just think they've all had a big of a hassle moving over to this gen, and as we move towards the end of the this year, it should all start to work out ok... but then i thought that was the case last year.

I am not disappointed by the re-masters, it's another source of games - especially if you hadn't already played them. I think people are giving the remasters a bit of a hard time.

Yes there is a lack of range of games so far... but i'm sure it will get better, the list of games that are in development is massive, its just that development is hard :(
