I wasn't expecting much this early into the generation. Last generation didn't really start getting good until about 18 months in.
If it continues to be underwhelming after this holiday season, though, I'll agree with you.

That's because it is all about the 1080 and 60FPS...
When you get trailers with just some CGI and people are already 'wow see those graphics' I pre order it now we should not expect great games..

Not too shabby first or second year last generation.
I think PS4 and X1 had a very good showing for their 1st year. PS4 most of all.
What sucks here is the IQ of Moderators, who ban people for no reason and never ban others who troll all the time.
Maybe they are friends or something.

Yeah, best controller I have ever had.
But also happy for Games like Infamous SS, DC, Far Cry4, Dragon Age, The Evil Within, TLOU and GTAV remastered, Shadow of Mordor, BF4, and in few hours the Order 1886. Next month Bloodborne.

Can only count 2006 and first half of 2007. That's 1,5 years from when the 360 released, so half of those games don't count. Sure the start of this generation isn't as good as the start of last generation, but I try to stay positive.

That was defintiely a huge improvement! It was about time sony started changing their controller's to have more similarities with xbox controllers. I actually prefer the dual shock 4 in some ways! I feel like the touch pad can be really well implemented to be more like a mouse. The xbox one controller is definitely more comfortable but their tied imo because of the touch pad, light, and speakers.
Ltd predictions by the time 9th Gen comes out
Ps4:110million
Xbox one :75 million( was 65)
Wii u: 20 milliion
As someone who will upgrade to Xbox One when Halo 5 arrives, from what I see the Xbox camp is doing just fine. Losing out to PS4 has forced Microsoft to reevaluate its priorities and as a result Xbox One is getting frequent and meaningful updates and a variety of genres of games that 360 didn't have.
But I can imagine sentiments for Nintendo and Sony. Nintendo only has the money and resources to invest in fan-favourite 1st party games, with marketshare limiting 3rd party offerings. And with Sony, like 360 before them, winning breeds complacency, with the top games coming from 3rd party developers, aside from the odd flagship 1st party game, which take years between releases.
