It was Dragon Age: Inquisiton. Smash Wii U and MK8 were close behind I believe.

Bayonetta 2 was also pretty close.

How do you know Bayonetta 2 was close? How do you know Inquisition was the Game of the Year in 2014? 'Cause opinions?

My bet with The_Liquid_Laser: I think the Switch won't surpass the PS2 as the best selling system of all time. If it does, I'll play a game of a list that The_Liquid_Laser will provide, I will have to play it for 50 hours or complete it, whatever comes first.

Possible:

Final Fantasy 15!

If the new Zelda is as groundbreaking as OoT was back at the time then it has chances to win the most goty awards even if the press hates Nintendo.
I'd say the biggest candidates are MGSV, Zelda U and maybe Uncharted 4

GOTY 2016

Between UC4 and Zelda U. Zelda always tries to pull off that "Best game ever" award whenever they come out (even though they say this about every Zelda) so I'd say Zelda. I can't wait to find out more about the game, it's being kept such a secret. Shame Smash Bros. was such an open book.

GOTY 2016

it is confirmed for 2016? :( i really thought it will be this year

Metal Gear 5 or Rise of the Tomb Raider.

It will be a toss up between Phantom Pain, Arkham Knight and The Witcher 3.

Really people? Zelda? When was the last time a Zelda game was actually in the running for the highest number of GOTY awards?

Last I checked Dragon Age won on most gaming outlets and the press in general (newspapers/websites). There was a thread on VGChartz tracking winners from a huge variety of outlets and DAI won the vast majority of them. Of course Nintendo exclusives won GOTY at several outlets and we got a thread for every win, as expected.

I predict that the Wii U will sell a total of 18 million units in its lifetime.

The NX will be a 900p machine
