2015 could be one of the best years in gaming. Who do you guys think will win the most GOTY awards?

We could divide the contenders in these categories (just my opinion, if you think otherwise, please say so):

Main contenders

Bloodborne
The Witcher 3
Batman Arkham Knight
The Legend of Zelda U
Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain
Persona 5
Uncharted 4

Possible contenders:

Halo 5
Xenoblade Chronicles X
Rise of the Tomb Raider
The Division
No Man's Sky

There are some other notable games releaseing this year, like Star Fox, Rime, Just Cause 3, SW Battlefront... but I give them very little chance of winning a GOTY from one of the major outlets, so I don't think they are worth considering.

Yeah, I'd go for MGSV too.

Or Zelda, since it will concentrate most Nintendo fans' votes.

No need to guess, Uncharted 4 is GOTY 100%.
The rest is just contending for 2nd place.

I don't know. Uncharted 3 got rave reviews but very few GOTY awards.

I know they are kind of reinventing the gameplay, but somehow I don't see another action-adventure TPS winning that many awards. Just a gut feeling though.

In any case, this could be one of the most divisive years in a long time.

I'm surprised that Skyward Sword won so many (15) GOTY awards given how most people treat it online. I'd say Zelda has the best chance followed by Metal Gear and Batman.



I predict that the Wii U will sell a total of 18 million units in its lifetime. 

The NX will be a 900p machine

Honestly i think everything on that list minus division is a main contender.

They are all contenders to win some GOTY awards. I put them in a secondary list because, personally, I don't think they have a chance to have the most GOTY awards. But who knows.

I agree this might be an amazing year. I hope all those games deliver.

I'd say Xenoblade Chronicles X and the unnamed Fire Emblem game (or the Shin Megami cross-over that we have no info about) has a decent shot. Maybe StarFox but that's kinda stretching it unfortunately. Oh and maybe Splatoon!
