Forums - Sony - Naughty Dog Is Not Looking To Make Cartoony Games Anymore

I've accepted that Jak isn't coming back a while back. As long as ND aren't forcing themselves or being forced in a particular direction I'm cool.

maybe sell the ips than? somebody coul give us a new crash...

wut? They don't even own Crash, Activision does.

It wouldn't be jarring to see Naughty Dog go from incredibly dark TLOU to their cartoony roots. Look at the contrast that Insomniac Games juggled last gen with Resistance and Ratchet & Clank

Naughty Dog are sellouts, confirmed.

It seems they're honed into the 'I want to be an adult' market of 12-16 year-olds, which is a very lucrative and stable market, so I don't blame them.

That's a lie.  They're still making Uncharted games.

You know I was always wondering why no one ever used the dollar sign for $ony, but then I realized they have no money so it would be pointless.

Disappointing that they would restrict themselves like that.
The Crash trilogy on PS1 remain some of their best games.

I'm officially bitter.

The true hurts.

It sure does.

WTF!?!? Jak's story was awesome. WHAT THE FUCK ND!?

Maybe they don't wanna make fun games anymore.

They're taking themselves too seriously. Seriously though, fuck you too ,ND.

Uncharted was pretty much just a wanna be movie. Uncharted 2 was decent but the rest meh.

Sony should get another company to Jak and Daxter. Hae Ready at Dawn do one. Daxter was great!

the story of Jack and Daxter was getting darker with each sequel. I don't understand.
