awesome thread idea! :) I really thought your list was spot on except for 4 & 5. Geometry Wars Retro is probably one of my most played games of all time :D

Dude, as a giant Stephen King fan, I have to say that you have the coolest avatar in the world. That's just awesome. Hahaha. Are you a huge Stephen King fan too?

Yeah man I read IT at least once a year for tradition. I watched the movie when I was 9, and it scared me so bad I had nightmares for weeks. Then I read the book as a Freshman in HS, and have read it once a year since. It had such an impact on my life. He's the reason I got into horror. I now have over 1,000 horror movies! My other favorites include Desperation, The Stand, The Shining (though the movie is better, sorry Stephen), Dolores Claiborne, Insomnia, Pet Sematary, Duma Key, Everything's Eventual, etc. etc. You?

AWESOME. Yes, IT really is an amazing book. Worthy of the annual re-reads. Very cool. Stephen King is definitely my favorite author, I've read everything of his. Didn't really get into him until 2009 (the stuff I read as a child scared me soooo bad I was afraid to go back until I was older). In fact, I loved reading Stephen King so much that he inspired me to start writing myself and I've been doing that since December of 2009. Your favorites are a lot like mine: Man do I love Everything's Eventual. Insomnia is one of my favorites as well. And I really enjoyed Joyland last year. In short, I've read everything the man has written and released and there's little I didn't really really enjoy. :)

What Went Wrong? Wii U Edition

in Nintendo Discussion on 28 September 2019

I predicted the Wii U would fail (but not to the degree it did), and the reason was simple: it didn't appeal to anyone. The Wii appealed to Nintendo fans and non-gamers. It was simple, easy to use, and fun. The Wii U was big, clunky, and not fun. The Wii had great Nintendo games like Twilight Princess, Brawl, and Galaxy, etc. etc. The Wii U didn't even get an original Zelda game (well...

    Unpopular Gaming Opinions

in Gaming Discussion on 04 February 2019

    1. Microsoft has innovated MUCH, MUCH more than Sony has. - Xbox Live was a huge paradigm shift in online gaming. The original PS2 didn't even have ethernet. - Microsoft made the hard drive standard - Achievements were a huge innovation - Xbox Live Arcade was a huge innovation - And many more things. Sony, despite being the market leader and making INCREDIBLE consoles, seem to be more...

If exclusives sell consoles, how come the Wii U failed? Also, why are few youtubers saying exclusives sell Switchs/PS4s but not Xbox Ones?

in Gaming Discussion on 25 December 2018

The exclusives weren't that great. Super Mario 3D World was one of the worst 3D Marios they could have put out. We went from Galaxy to that and it hurt. There's no mainline Zelda game (they'd delay BOTW to the point where it's a Switch game). Retro was forced to make a boring DKCR sequel instead of an awesome first person shooter or WRPG. No Metroid. No third party support (even the GameCube...
