Hmm... going off the years and the fact that you live in Colombia, I would say it was something by Micro Genius.

Maybe the game was "Super Mega 8-in-1" or something. Oh well, lost to history...

it doesnt looked like the one you posted on the image but you are right on that last sentence, it is pretty much lost to history.

NES but my older brother had an Atari 2600 I used to play. The NES smoked it.

Just to add a picture, I don't think it ever got to the USA though, it was like a Master System "slim" they called 3.
I think Europe also had a similar version, but this one was Brazil only!

Yes, I think we in Europe also got this.

Atari 2600 and NES. They were quite fun, gaming just got funner as time went on.

The SNES, though technically it wasn't "my" console as it was already in the house when I was born :P

The first console my parents bought for me is the N64, though. The Game Boy followed shortly after.

Sort of NES, but that was inherited. First one we BOUGHT was either N64 or Gameboy (Pokémon). Can't remember which was first now.

The Master System was also decently known there in Europe right?

Yes, it was doing ok in Europe, at least in Germany. System had better graphics than the NES but lacked in the number of games. But in Brazil the system lived on and I remember playing Street Fighter 2 in a sms emulator!

i liked the system a lot. The only thing it was missing was a pause button on the controller.

Atari 7800 way back in '87, then the following Christmas I got an NES.

This was the same for me.

The absence of evidence is NOT the evidence of absence...

LOL, hell yeah, you had to get up and pause within the console itself. If you had to get a quick pause you were mostly fucked xD

Yeah, it didn't had a lot of games, but all I came across were really good games.
And it's still being sold here in Brazil xD
But the new versions doesn't support cartridges as it comes with almost all games already in the console memory, what is a shame, because collectors would love to buy it if it still had a cartridge reader.

How do the caes look in Brazil?

I remember mine were like this:

and this

And it's still sold today? Amazing!
