I also bought One Piece Unlimited World Red as a Wii U digital download rather than buying the physical versions available on PS3, Vita, or 3DS. Does that count since it's only available digitally on Wii U?

For me out of the 7 Wii U games I own:

Nintendo - 6
Capcom - 1

So, that's 86%

18 Nintendo (Including published like Lego City, Ninja Gaiden, Wonderful 101, Bayo 2, Hyrule Warriors)
20 Third Party

1doesnotsimply

Nintendo - 11
Platinum Games - 3
Warner Bros. - 2
Square Enix - 1
Ubisoft - 1

69%

20 boxed Wii U games.
5 first party.
15 third party.
So 25%.

Thanks for the votes so far!

Mine depends on whether we want to count Bayonetta 2 (bought day one new) as first-party or third-party since Nintendo published and financed the making of a Sega-owned IP.

These threads have always been classified by publisher. I've modified the OP to clarify this.
Bayonetta 2 and port of 1 are first party since they were published and funded by Nintendo.

Even though the publisher decided not to make it retail in your region, it is in other consoles and regions. So, it's a digital retail title.

12 vs. 12

But I bought most first party games at 50€ and most third party games at 10-15€...

Who doesn`t?

That's part of the spin-off thread that got made during the last poll: http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/thread.php?id=188994

Still waiting for AC4 to reach 10 to give it a go.

11 games total

45% third-party (or 5 games): 3 warner bros. (scribblenauts unmasked, scribblenauts unlimited, injustice); 1 ubisoft (rayman legends); 1 capcom (ducktales remastered)

55% first-/second-party (or 6 games): captain toad, super mario 3d world, the wonderful 101, super smash bros., pikmin 3, tropical freeze

i was surprised by this myself. ratio will take a hit when i buy yoshi's woolly world, which will likely be my next purchase (i think it's coming before splatoon).

Nintendo: 3-4 (depends on Hyrule Warriors, Nintendo or Koei Tecmo) Nintendoland, Mario Kart 8, Super Smash Bros Wii U
Platinum Games: 1 Wonderful 101
3rd Party games: 5 Sonic and Sega Allstar Racing Transformed, Tekken Tag Tournament 2, Injustice: Gods among us, Fist of the North Star: Ken's Rage 2, Ninja Gaiden: Razor's Edge

So far I have 100% 3rd party titles for Wii U, and even more funny is the fact that I don't own a Wii U yet ^^ I'm sure this number will change as soon as I buy an actual Wii U though

I'm on Twitter @DanneSandin!

Furthermore, I think VGChartz should add a "Like"-button.
