PS2 was on the market for 12 years! anyone expecting the PS4 still being on the shelves in 2025? so yeah...

They were taking a much smaller loss on each unit sold at launch compared to the PS2 and the cash cow PS+

I'm predicting around 85-90 million sold. I'm also predicting a much shorter console cycle than the last 2 generations.

I have my doubts that it will surpass 100m, simply because I feel this is going to be a shorter console cycle, especially compared to the 7th generation.

they will reach it more people are into videogaming than at the time but they wont have as much of monopoly like the ps2 had. Its outsold its competitors 3 to 1
