It would be more reasonable to predict that it will pass the PS2, since it's outselling it, than predicting that it may not even pass the PS3 and end up as the worse home console in sales by Sony.

I know that i was the only people to hope PS4 above PS2 (and still, hope, not predict), but how have write in my ex-thread?

It will break the 100 million units, but it won't reach PS2 levels, too much competition nowadays. It could get close to Gameboy numbers, but that's it.

This! I would even add that I may be surprised if they even surpass the 80M mark to be honest, although I wouldn't bet on that.

Of course there are many factors involved in this such as how many years will this generation last, so it really is hard to predict.
