Somehow odd. But given that retailers have limited shelve space it makes sense...
The real selling feature of the New 3DS are its faceplates. Those mean even more shelve space is needed.
So there are three possibilities:
- NoA waits until current 3DS stock is sold and then introduces the New 3DS and faceplates
- NoA will sell them only online (maybe via an own store)
- NoA will not sell them at all
As NoE puts them into the channel will get a New 3DS. For me its the faceplates and the "in between" screen size that outweight the XL screen size...
