Forums - Nintendo - Galaxy 1&2 HD never happening then?

Yea, they are not happening since they already look so good and making them look even better will be veryyy hard apart from just adding AA and running at 1080p natively which is not worth $50 but if the EU prices are anything to go by, the ports should be quite cheap

~$20 regular price and $10 discounted price which is pretty cray cray

I thought the second game was punch out? And i wonder if Prime trilogy would also be 10$. Would defintely buy that if I hadn't already.

the games dont realy need 1080p, the tech behind it works realy fine upscaled

Punch Out is only in NA, EU & Japan are getting different games (Japan is even getting a lot more).

Some times is hard for me to understand hardcore Nintendo fans, from many examples here and on other sites most of them brag about their consoles having "origional" content while the other consoles are filled with remakes/remasters.

Yet I also see them asking for HD remakes all the time, what gives?

I've never complained about remakes as long as they're useful. SMG with graphics of SM3DW in 720p would be orgasmic.
A remake of a one year old game on the other hand... With barely any differences...

Or the best example ever:

The remake of the original Metroid --> Metroid: Zero Mission

Now they need to remake Metroid II...

I also never played the original Wind Waker, OoT and MM. So these remakes are very helpful for me, especially because the graphics all got a major boost, controls were streamlined and minor gameplay changes were/are being made.

Very hard? Going to 1080p would be absolute night and day vs the standard defintion Wii. PS3 games going to PS4 is a huge difference a Wii game going to Wii U would be even larger.

Well, if an emulator can do it quite easily, I doubt it will take that much effort with the wiiU and they will be charging $50 just for adding 1080p and AA which is terrible value. Sure, it improves it but not by that considerable amount so that its worth $50

Put 1 and 2 and make them 1080p with enhanced AA and textures and charge 50$. That sounds reasonable for me. It does not appear it is going to happen though or they would not be releasing it on the Wii U. Sad actually, an HD collection probably would have got me to buy it for my Wii U not interested in a SD port

Meh... I would rather have a Mario 64 HD remake, but with all the new content from the DS version!

I don't think it it would be worth it for me if thats all they did, specially since for one week, SMG2 port only costs $10 on the eshop (least according to EU prices anyway)
