I see some minor changes there, as should be expected. E3 last year was likely 1 year+ away from release so it made sense that graphics weren't completely polished.

They should, it was introduce on 2013 it will take 3 years if they release on 2015, that's normal, especially for exclusive games.

Image quality isn't dramatically different between them. And I don't think higher quality video makes mountains appear. ;) |
Now you know I didn't state that.

The terrain in the gif is diferent but the quality is the same. |
too much downplaying, tone it down. the xeno girl is far more detailed than your images and she's not even close to the most detailed character we've seen in Xeno X.

2. If you want to derail the thread then please do it by all means. 3. If you want to compare PS4 level visuals then please do it by all means. I would love to see PS4 dominating. PS4 processing power (1.84 tf) > Xbox One (1.31) + PS3 + Xbox 360+ Wii + Wii U. @Mods - I am sorry for my response. But I was provoked. Otherwise I dont comment such things. |
do that math again and no more derailing.

LOL too much downplay? Me not liking the character design of this game is too much downplay? I dont have to tone it down just beccause you cant acept other peoples opinions. |
it's not an opinion. we are discussing xenoblade X graphics and you said the character models looked like ps2, when the fact stands that they are vastly superior.
you can dislike the models but that won't make then any less detailed.
Wouldn't say they're really "getting better" but that's because they looked amazing beforehand. They just keep looking amazing and, honestly, can't wait to see more or even play it (hopefully soon!)

Just want to point out that i think its just different lighting on each screenshot. I'm not sure theres any difference in the model besides her wearing a scarf on the second one. Looks nice though.
Why are we talking about the order though? Xenoblade looks sweet! Can't wait! :)
I would love to see footage of a new area, but then i think i would just love to be surprised the same way i was with Xenoblade 1. ^^
I only had a notion of what the first area looked like on the original. The new areas were an amazing surprise when i saw how creative they were.

You can dislike whatever you want, but saying those pictures look the "same" is just blatant downplay. Nowhere near the same level of detail. The similarities begin and end with the art style being a mix between realistic and anime.
Looks very good, but I'm most interested in the gameplay than in the graphics. If I wanted good graphics, would have bought the best platform for that: a PC.
