XBOne is already dominating Japan, but it's a well guarded secret, should the Japanese government become aware of it, it could send its ninja killer squads to thinly slice that poor, innocent and fluffy Nadella.

I doubt it but they probably should. It's a lost cause really, but at the same time think about the Xbox fans in Japan. It would be pretty shitty if they were to pull out and they were left in the dust for those exclusives they enjoy.

Well, they all divide the countries into different segments depending on the size of the market. That is only natural. Dicontinuing all together is another matter.

Microsoft can afford keeping the XBone alive in Japan, bit it can't afford the PR hole that abandning the console might create, specially when Apple and Google are growing really fast in Japan.

Which should be equal to if it matters for the customers. 45000 in sales is still 45000 in sales, and MS, just as Sony or Nintendo, must rely on as many markets as possible to gain marketshare.

Well said.  Isn't the vita already being removed from many  stores in the us? Probably what will happen and the fans can always download games if retail remove them
