Define flopped. It is not objective. I think all of us here want the video gaming industry to have the same respect as the movie industry so let's use this.

Nintendo should bundle this game with Wii U. Its like Driveclub, the more people play it, the more people will know how awesome it is. Also it would sell consoles, I would like to buy a Bayonetta 2 Wii U bundle.

If you want to ask how then can I call it awesome, I've played it for a few hours at a friend's house, my only friend who owns a Wii U.

Anyways, this game is NOT niche. Its not selling for some other reason, but not due to being niche.

Bayonetta 2 has not sold 250k in the US, not even close.


Wasn't there something like that Bayonetta 2 NPD numbers just being made up and no real data? I'm pretty sure there was.

 

Then there's Nintendo of Frances statement that Bayo 2 sold arround 60K over there some weeks ago.

Haven't heard that, but there's always some people saying that the leaked numbers are just made up, so who knows, I'm inclined to believe the numbers

And Nintendo France said that they were expecting to sell 60k units by the end of the year.

Oh now we're doing this shit again, if the people in NPD thread on Neogaf believe it and if none of the other leakes come to dispute the numbers than we can assume that they are correct.

I think the market have lost their taste for slashers in general.  The last God of War, Ascension didnt exactly do so well either compared to the rest of the series.
