Donkey Kong Country Returns
MP3 was great but DKCR showed the development studio has range and once again brought back a franchise that Nintendo more or less abandoned more then a gaming generation ago with class. A shame Nintendo more or less failed to take advantage of that and left DKC: TF to die in the early months of 2014 without much push.

I don't know if there was much Nintendo could do for Tropical Freeze; it simply wasn't a game that the market wanted, especially launching on a console already well stocked with platformers.

Retro was supposedly Nintendo's right arm to demonstrate the capabilities of their console. All Metroid Prime games managed to do this, offering great artwork and still being masterpieces. Country Returns didn't deliver anything about this, though it was a good game. Tropical Freeze neither did, aside from the fur of the Kong family.
My bet with The_Liquid_Laser: I think the Switch won't surpass the PS2 as the best selling system of all time. If it does, I'll play a game of a list that The_Liquid_Laser will provide, I will have to play it for 50 hours or complete it, whatever comes first.
MP3 hands down. Plus Metroid Prime Trilogy cause playing the beyond excellent Metroid Prime with Wii's control is just amazing.

Yeah, Retro built for themselves a reputation for pushing Nintendo hardware. Heck, I'd even argue that DKCR was one of the best looking Wii games, even if it wasn't quite as visually ambitious as Prime 3.
Tropical Freeze, as great as it is, is their first game not to be at the graphical forefront of its system.

Metroid Prime 1 + Prime 3's Wiimote controls = one of the best games ever made.
Metroid Prime Trilogy.
Of those two, MP3.
Proud to be the first cool Nintendo fan ever
Number ONE Zelda fan in the Universe
Prediction: No Zelda HD for Wii U, quietly moved to the succesor
Predictions for Nintendo NX and Mobile

MP3 is probably the better game but I'll go with DKCR anyway because of how well Retro managed to revive the DKC series.
They'll all get kicked in the crotch by Retro's Eternal Darkness sequel though. V_V
