I don't know if there was much Nintendo could do for Tropical Freeze; it simply wasn't a game that the market wanted, especially launching on a console already well stocked with platformers. |
Retro was supposedly Nintendo's right arm to demonstrate the capabilities of their console. All Metroid Prime games managed to do this, offering great artwork and still being masterpieces. Country Returns didn't deliver anything about this, though it was a good game. Tropical Freeze neither did, aside from the fur of the Kong family.
My bet with The_Liquid_Laser: I think the Switch won't surpass the PS2 as the best selling system of all time. If it does, I'll play a game of a list that The_Liquid_Laser will provide, I will have to play it for 50 hours or complete it, whatever comes first.
