The only game i have ever needed to mod to get working correctly was dark souls and it played fine at 720p/30fps otherwise... who can really believe the lies people say about PC.

So it can run Cod:AW, Dragon Age Inquisition and so on at a playable frame rate. Just because it played one game at the Ps3 level doesn't mean it can run thm all.

This. Second hand PS3 is about $100-$150.

Are you actually trying to argue that its easier/as easy for a someone to buy Skyrim on PC than to buy it on console?

I dont know about the rest of you, but i have my money on my mom being able to buy a PS3 and Skyrim and have it running with little to no fuss without any intervention from me.

As for the doing the same on a PC...i highly doubt it.

I can buy a brand new PS3 for the equivalent of 150$, and could find a second hand one for 80$.

 

Please, tell me more about the desktop computer that costs less than 80 bucks, but still can play Skyrim better than the PS3.

Considering I can buy a new PS3 for $169 and the largest electronics store here dont even stock computers that cheap I find it to be impossible... unless he considers selling the parts himself to his mum for a 100% mark down as being cheaper than PS3.

A used PS3 is like 150 bucks. You will be hard pressed to even build a whole PC from that, let alone one that can run PS3 games. Even if you could by buying used and old PC parts it's never wise to invest in old technology.
