There's only five retail 1080p games that I think of so far on the WII U ...

The OP missed Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate and ZombiU ...

I didn't think Monster Hunter would get many votes as it's essentially a Wii/3DS game in 1080p.

And ZombiU is 1080p? This is the first I've heard of this.

That's correct, yes.

They had it running at 1080p during development, but decided to trade resolution for more post-processing effects.

Nope, its says so on their storepage. And it does look to be in 1080p when i play it.

I just googled and it's defiantly 720p. Shin’en said themselves in an interview. Apparently they had it at 1080p at one point, but decided to use the resources for more post-processing effects instead (something curl-6 also mentioned a few hours ago).

Are you sure the '1080p' on their storepage isn't simply in reference to the maximum video output? Most 8th gen titles up-scale to 1080p regardless of their native resolution. I suppose it could also be in reference to the PS4 version, which is 1080p.
