Even though the Xenoblade X box art is fake, the photoshop is pretty well done! Props for the creator for pulling off this joke!
And no need to remove the box art. Just add a disclaimer that it's fake.
Probably some silly market research on NOA's part determined that gold/yellow boxes get more attention from the consumer (with Zelda though it can't makes sense to keep the boxes gold).
