I am sure SONY understand the situation more then us, I am sure they will do something, even keeping the same price for December

Oh no, if Sony doesn't do anything then MS will win December NPD.... the horror!!! I'm sure Sony are extremely bothered by this with the PS4 being the fastest selling console of all time and all.

Do you realize how important NA market is?  Xbox one has been outselling it here for weeks now things are starting to change.

Do you realize how the NA market is not even half as important to the PS4 as it is to the X1? Also it's not like the PS4 is selling poorly in NA, even if you're trying to make us believe that with your little tale.

And that is the point im trying to make . Sony is not doing enough in NA which is a huge mistake they should not give it up without a fight. The PS4 could be doing so much greater if Sony wanted it. I understand you hate it when people critisize your favorite company but facts are facts.

It's not about criticism. The fact is, they don't NEED to compete. Have you seen next year's lineup?? Why would they cut the price and lose millions of dollars when they're still outselling worldwide, and only being outsold in na by a couple hundred thousand per month. In fact, ps4 is STILL over xb1 by 800k, which is more than 16%. Compare this to last gen when sony got outsold 2-1.

Your advice makes no sense.

All these crappy threads are gonna make my glorious 18 posts per day rate drop. This thread is a joke. OP uses silly anecedotal evidence to justify his beliefs. Hiding behind "facts" so he to try hide the fact that he is flaming.
PLZ keep thread open mods, there might be more entertainment to glean from this horrible thread.
Since i'm waiting for new episodes anyway.

The PS4 is doing excellent in North America.  What alternate reality do you live in?

To get back to the original poster's point: yes, the Destiny bundle is overpriced. No question. It should be no more than $400, maybe less.

This.

THis thread is pointless and anecdotal.

However, dont be so patronising.  Does it offend you that people might actually prefer the xbox brand.

...and serous trouble?  the fastest selling xbox by some considerable distance is in serious trouble?

This ill informed narrative needs to stop.

Microsoft threw everything last gen at Sony and Sony still came back. Sony is willing to slow down their development knowing who they are dealing it. This should tell you something. Microsoft in the long run will be in trouble compared to last gen with Sony. They might profit off of the One...which everyone here wants  because its so far my favorite console to game on so far, but once the third party dries up where will MS have to run? Thats the question I pose.

Again...you know full well that beating Sony means far more to Microsoft than being the fastest selling console they've ever had. They aren't in this industry for that. Thats a nice accomplishment but one must pay attention to their intentions to realize what they are dealing with. This is going to be quite a gen filled with tons of third party titles from MS. They are going to pay until it hurts just to try and catch up. That doesnt hurt me though...more games for me. ;)

I heard there were a lot of returns for Destiny's bundle but the 20th anniversary PS4 and Black Friday GTA/Last of Us bundle sold great. The problem is not the price...all signs are pointing to a lack of interest in destiny and the fact that there should've been limited bundles on that game on Sony's part. If they would've kept it limited like MS and Sunset Overdrive or even COD....we wouldn't be hearing it about it from OP.

Considering they have basically broke the game for non-DLC owners, the Destiny bundle should be $400 now, not $450.

Also, Sony has a Walmart gift card promotion going right now that takes $50 off the console. They are fighting back in the US.

We're in 2014, not 2004. Microsoft entered the console market to stop Sony from taking over the home entertainment space and that war is over. Now MS wants what all the companies want, to push their services through the console and make money. To imply MS holds beating Sony higher than profit and/or their own success is simply ridiculous.

I am an employee at Best Buy, we sell so many Xbox One Assassins Creed bundles for 350$ but hardly anyone buys any PS4 Destiny bundles for 450$ it is overpriced and the competition simply offers better.  We sold out of all GTA 5 bundles but I think Sony needs to do something about this because no one is buying the Destiny bundle we have had these in stock since september and no one wants them. There are no original PS4s either the only thing they have is their Destiny bundles.

If Sony doesn't do anything about it I am 100% sure Microsoft will win December NPD.  This isn't just my Best Buy I checked all Best Buys and they all have Destiny bundles only.

I think they should cut the price to 399$. That's what Microsoft would do.

So they've sold out of GTA 5 and regular consoles.  Did they not have a lot, or did they just sell a lot?
