Hell no. It's your own damn fault for buying a broken ass game day 1. This is what reviews are for.
I bet the Wii U would sell more than 15M LTD by the end of 2015. He bet it would sell less. I lost.
Should you be able to get a refund for a broken game? | |||

Who ever told you that is stealing your money. It is extremely rare that a car is recalled outright and in thast case it would be replaced or refunded at no cost to you. Most recalls are for specific issues that a list of approved dealers will fix at no cost to the consumer.
Nothing screams bad PR more then a high amount of games being returned. it's a suitable inspiration to publishers to really not fuck up the launch with a broken game.
I can handle glitches, but not so bad it's painful to play

Absolutely. With how much deception goes on within most mainstream reviews, its become far more difficult to put any trust on those kind of people/websites. Everyone has an agenda now-a-days it seems. With that being said what lesson am I learning if I go buy a game based on reviews only to find out that theres some major game breaking bugs not mentioned?
How on any level is it my fault that I was deceived into purchasing a product that was faulty to begin with. The only way you can ever truly know if a game works how its supposed to is if you go watch an entire playthrough on Twitch and even that couldn't be guaranteed. It should be the duty of the Dev to either A) Release the game with no gamebreaking bugs or B) Refund the consumer that isn't satisfied with their purchase.
I would make the consumers happy, but I don't think the retailers would be on board with it

It's a grey area.... that could result in lawsuits. I pre-order Halo: MCC and it wasn't the product that was advertised.
IT's definitely false marketing. But, it would require a class action lawsuit. I actually really enjoy Halo: MCC but the product is still flawed and they did not deliver on their promise.
No. Practice some restraint. Don't buy an offline game until you read the review. Don't buy an online game until you get a good measure of its infrastructure.
My single player experience with MCC was more or less flawless, so no complaints here :). With games such as DC, it may be more troublesome since they are more dependent on the online MP aspect.
gamers should be slapped for buying it and then laughed at
