The scene goes straight into gameplay. No loading or anything. If it was cutscene it would be like the usualy ND game where the game goes to black and goes into gameplay.

The game's not downgraded. The foliage looks identical to the foliage we saw in the reveal trailer and Drakes character model looks extremely similar with a slight variation to make him look more like Uncharted 3 Drake.

People always find something to critique and say "not like I thought." I'm just gonna wait until we have some better gameplay closer to release before I judge how good it looks.

@zekkyou sorry for double post . the pc at work , does not allow me to edit my replies. Just look at the environment in the initial trailer. the level of detail there itself was incredible and if you compre to what was shown, its a bit disaapointing. The point is , that they shouldn't have lied

You said it yourself, basically the best in the industry for optimization. Is this game being released tomorrow? Oh no so there you go, they have plenty of time to "optimize" the game. If you're dissapointed by the look of Uncharted 4 then what game on next gen impresses you? Outside of maybe art style, I don't think you can say any game looks this good graphically.

It's no news. When i read reviews of FFXIII most said graphics were good but far from the best they had seen that year (Uncharted 2 year if i remember correctly).

Played the game again 3 months ago, graphics still look awesome to me. I don't get why people can't appreciate beautiful graphics anymore, it's all about realism and it's never realistic enough, let alone the 1080p/60fps bullshit.

Not everyone is drinking that Naughty Dog kool aid. Whoever said it earlier in the thread is right, we've reached a point where there is a "naughty dog" effect where people over rate the shit out of the graphics.

imho this trailer graphics wise just looked like a typical next gen game. Which is fine. It still has a year or so in the oven.

@kyuu the initial reveal said that footage was captured from level on ps4 running in real time. they defended it on twitter as well. What was shown at the intial reveal was CGI claiemd to be real time graphics. What was shown now is jsut a normal ps4 game with nice graphics. What they said and defended to what was shown is lie , no matter how you twist it. What was shown won't dramatically increase to that level in a few months or in a years time. They would have to pull a miracle to acheive that level of graphics.

Looks amazing. People on GAF think so too.

@braLod --- that initial reveal was incredible and is still looks incredible. I wish there was a gamer taht could run a game taht look that good and with a stable frame rate. guess it won't be in this generation of consoles
