I'm quite satisfied with the visuals shown, the only thing that bothers me is the uncanny valley.
Gaf (and some people here) bitch and moan about everything, no matter how good stuff is.

I also wasn't been impressed with this gameplay looks. First, because ND are legendary, and what they do typically do is a benchmark of what's passible on the platform. So there's not only huge expectations for "just" next UC game, but also what PS4 can do. And those expectation were so high, I think it's true they couldn't be fullfilled.
Second, more important part - UC4 may me far less impressive that number of polygons and texture quality can tell, because it's more realistic. When you compare color palette of UC3 and UC4, UC3 is much more vivid, cartoon like style with strong green colors. UC4 is much more toned down to be realistic, but this also means its not as impressive, because color doesn't pop up from screen, making it subjectivly less details (you need to focus to see finer detail). It seems that UC4 carry on with dark gritty style of Last of Us, which may not be so great in happy crazy game that UC was up to this point.
That's no question that UC looks great technically, but artistic part is not so punchy as previous games. That's not to say I won't enjoy it, because i will :D
We have reached diminishing returns, deal with it :P
You can still tell one game is more tecnically advanced than another, but you won't find huge leaps anymore.
Honestly i think ill stay away from these reactionary threads for a while (dont worry OP its not you and not your fault OP mind you). I dont know if its just me but i see Zelda wiiU i say its astounding and beautiful in art/graphics, i see UC4 I say the same in art/graphics, i see no mans sky, guilty gear xrd, Persona, Etrian Odyssey, Disgaea and i say the same.
I like their attention to detail irrespective of the artstyle or gameplay. What do you want to see? Honestly, what do you want to see? Im here to play good games, irrespective of art/graphics. I still play chrono trigger and secret of mana for Gods sake
Download the full uncompressed video if you want to revel in the graphics (A 1.6GB file). I can honestly say that this looks better than anything I have played on PC. Yes BF4 and Metro: LL come a little close, but UC4 is king (1080p of course).

Pretty much this. Personally I still like pre rendered graphics.
Lube Me Up
after watching the gameplay trailer of UC4, i can say thats a massive downgrade from the initial trailer that claim to be in game footage. Thats no where close to it. No consoles are powerful enough to deliver those kind of graphics

Yeah I downloaded the 1.6 GB file on Gamersyde and the game looks phenominal. They have so much time to improve as well. Uncharted will most likely release early November like Uncharted 3 did, so they have 11 more months to work on this. People get upset when developers show us bullshotted gameplay |(AC Unity) and then the game comes out and it looks nothing like the footage we've seen. And now a dev shows us work in progress footage and they get upset it's not the next coming of Christ in terms of graphics.

No, even a crap looking Ps3 game looks much better than a great Ps2 game.
