By the time it's taking to make the new one, you can really expect that.
SS was finished in 2011 and only 4 years later we'll see a new one. It's true that there were several remixes between one and the other - 3 remixes, to be precise - but Zelda games for home consoles seem to be taking a lot of time to be made, so don't expect a new one for Wii U. More like another one in 2017/2018.

Maybe the norm will now be a remake plus a original one.

I would prefer one "new installment" Zelda for Wii U so that Nintendo can have their next Zelda game ready for whatever console they launch next.

The real question i think is will Wii-U have an exclusive Zelda game? Or will it release cross platform on something else? Maybe a little time in between release like The Last of Us?

Hopefully, the series is deserving of better hardware.
