It doesn't overly embarrass the game being marketed, so it's basically an automatic B-grade on the Nintendo scale of marketing.

I hate bad advertising. You'd think at 2015 people would know how to do a good job..
I've already pre-ordered the game, so no need for a commercial in my case.

Yeah.. I was looking for a way to describe the commercial, but you pretty much nailed it. This is the way a lot of Nintendo commercials are lately, and I just think its lame. People want to be wow-ed, and Nintendo is basically just saying "Well.. here's your new game"
I don't mind it...
I found that Japanese commercial creepy, so this is a nice alternative...
The trolling in the comments is pretty ridiculous...
I haven't seen trolling that shameless since I stopped lurking on GameTrailers...
