Yeah.. I was looking for a way to describe the commercial, but you pretty much nailed it. This is the way a lot of Nintendo commercials are lately, and I just think its lame. People want to be wow-ed, and Nintendo is basically just saying "Well.. here's your new game"

Well, to be fair, in this case the game in question is lucky to have a commercial.  It's a fairly small time game.  But yeah, they could use at least one "wow" commercial for Smash.

On par with the Hyrule Warriors commercial, which is pretty much average or just below. Time will tell but I agree it could have been better presented.
