I agree with their HM complaint. I'm amazed GF didn't address the biggest issue with Ruby/Sapphire after they did so well with Black/White and X/Y.

The ubiquity of water is fine though as that's the damn setting. I could be wrong but from memory Hoenn had a lot of water types to reflect this.

Why are people so simple? lol

The reviewer elaborates there is lack of balance in pokemon types as well the water being jarring terrain to transverse. The later part is especially subjective but if you don't care about subjectivity in reviews then ignore those parts.

Even remove the water terrain remark and a 7.8 is still a fair score with the other criticism in hand, mayb tiny bit harsh (Video seemed like an 8-8.5)but really guys please crying every time a game you like gets less then a 9, there are 100s of reviews out there. Nothing she said was idiotic.
