Can't believe this and Driveclub are the playstation exclusives for this holiday. Really dissapointed and to make things worse both games are broken.

Did you play DKCTF?

If not, you really have to.

Nope, but I highly doubt that it's better than Legends.. it does look like a very fun game though.

Good lord that ign review was HARSH!

Well.. The score was harsh.

Damn! A 6.8! They basically said that this game is TRASH!

And wtf does the ".8" do for the score. its a fucking 6! I dont look at and think " oh so it got just below a 7" No! Its a fucking 6 lol

Aside from Metacritc, ign is the only review i actually pay attention to.

Also, them Xbox fanboys came out and are having a GOD DAMNED BLAST in that comment section of the lbp3 ign review video.

They're acting like how they claim the horrible PS Fans act.

There is ABSOLUTELY NO DIFFERENCE between these console fanboys despite people trying to act like PS fans are devils and all the other fans are angels

You should take note of Edge more. Although their website seems to be a bit behind their magazine reviews are generally on the ball (ignoring the high number of perfect scores they gave out last gen compared to previous 15 years of games).

Agreed on the latter.

Hmm, pie.

Anything below 9/10 is unacceptable. I've watched hours of create, hours of the story mode and listened to hours of people praising the hell out of it and ALL have said it's the best one yet.

It has been very strange looking at how similar scores are perceived between X1 and PS4 this last year.  79 metacritic is a good score, and yet when the game is on Playstaytion it seems to be deemed average, as evidenced by the comments in this thread  And yet, Forza 5 got a 79, and Dead Rising 3 a 78, and those are considered good games.

Similarly, inFamous got an 80, and people call it disappoitning, and Sunset Overdrive gets an 82, and is widely praised.

And IGNs review was terrible.  If you give a game a score like that, and can back it up, that is fine.  But that review failed to do so.

This anomoly exists simply because of the 'no game' narrative. Perception is everything.

LBP3 just sealed the deal for me with reviewers. Their hypocrisy knows know bounds. Don't get me wrong the average being 8/10 for a game is very good but some of the sites giving it really low scores are just so wrong. They will deduct points heavily for launching with bugs in the single player. You don't even need to look at these sites other reviews to know they give other games with similar if not worse (often online) issues a free pass. Guaranteed they over looked launch day bugs for many a GTA, Call of Duty, Halo etc.

And the sad thing is the single player mode is not LBP's selling point. But the broken onlines for many a big hitter often is their selling point.

Popped into WHSmiths today, happened to see the new Edge Magazine in there, they gave it a 9/10, less than the last 2 but pointed out the freezing and saying the added complexity to 13 layers may hurt creativity, but 9/10 none the less.

Hmm, pie.
