Far Cry 4 + Dragon Age Inquisition = GOTY

Metacritic is slow to update seeing as putting these things up is the entire point of their site.

I had fun with Far Cry 3 even though I never actually "finished" it.  I mean, I captured all the towers and bases but I just didn't give a flaming cat about the story.  It was bad and the characters were bad but, really, who cares, as I got to pretend I was someone other than the main character and killed a lot of nameless minions.  Which is why Blood Dragon was far superior to FC3, though that's neither here nor there.

However, this game has a grappling hook, which should be a massive improvement.  It means I get to kill stuff without having to walk all the way around mountains first.

Bayonetta 2 would also deserve it but not sure if a game on a platform which didn't sell so much has a chance. Would be bad if not.

The Internet forum crowd is just a tiny, tiny minority. It doesn't matter, if I was from a publisher I wouldn't even bother reading forums.

This game needs like a 25 metascore for me to not buy it. Far Cry 3 was just too much fun.
