Now that Far Cry and Dragon Age Inquisition have been released, only Smash Bros 4 Wii U and Little big planet can join Dark Souls II and Bayonetta 2 in the 2014 90+ metacritic club.

Far too short. A bit too sexual for my taste... Some rather awkward moments when my wife would walk in and Bayo would be doing some crazy provocative stance or use her magic and be mostly naked... That was a bit over the top for me personally, but a good game none the less. 



Gotta figure out how to set these up lol.

Bayonetta 2 is a great game, but if it was a cool looking guy instead it would have 5 points less.

Shovel Knight (though its an indie), Dark Souls II? South Park? (forgot)

Hardly any, probably the worst for 90+ rated games.

Metacitic is a joke (and always has been looking back) but I think 85+ is the new 90+


I do think this has been pretty sub par year though. Lots of enjoyable experiences, very few classics in the making

How is it a joke when it just compiles the reviews of games?

Gamerankings just compiles all reviews and averages them.

Metacritic applies some kind of weighting formula, where they give more importance to some reviews, and less importance to other reviews.  They keep the exact weighting a secret.
