One might wonder why such a good game is selling so little



Bet reminder: I bet with Tboned51 that Splatoon won't reach the 1 million shipped mark by the end of 2015. I win if he loses and I lose if I lost.

Oh I know that, but Bayonetta 2 and Smash have more visable reasons for why they would not be considered for GOTY, especially Bayonetta 2. Despite the remarkable game that Bayonetta 2 is, and the praise that it has recieved, the game is far too out there for the gaming media to give it GOTY. I'm not too bothered by it because I know that GOTY awards are more geared towards AAA western games.

Wow at Bayo scores. Even more impressive when you factor in the "ZOMG the sexist protagonist" markdowns that will have inevitably been applied.

I think 2014 goes to Wii U for best home console lineup.

LBP 3 seems like 91+ Meta to me ( i am betting on a 95- 98 meta YEAH I WENT THERE )

great voice acting
3 new characters
much richer customization and creative tools
all the tools from lbp,lbp2 , lbp vita, plus 30 new tools
Recruiting 15 of the lbp community to make the game
Tightening of controls and mechanics
new animation and controls , 12
its gonna be glorious
plus it being a creative + family oriented game(in this season of fighters , shooters and action games ) means its scoring is gonna be awesome

I love Toad, I hope it does really well. But Famitsu said it was short and easy? I dunno, didn't think 2D platformers on Nintendo scored 90+?

I agree. Theres always someone wanting to pull personal agendas "cough polygon cough". 

I imagine Bayonetta 2 would have an even bigger meta if not for that.

Well it is the best game I've played this year, so it's deserved, imo. I think Smash Wii U is gonna beat it's meta though. I don't think anything else will score higher than it though for the year.

It's not Media Molecule so its chances of scoring on par with the first two are slim to none I'd say. Will probably be in the 85-87 range. Could be lower since LBP2 essetially made it so that a third game was never necessary.
