It did alright. Being on the Wii U certainly didn't do it any favors, though there's really no helping that. That's pretty much an issue with the console itself, good games won't reach the sales they deserve due to how unappealing the hardware is.



Around the Network

I think it's pretty good, at least it won't be another wonderful 101 situation. I think weeks two and three will give a much better idea of lifetime sales since it sounds like most vendors didn't order enough copies to match demand initially. It was out of stock at both targets and gamestop by my house.



Pretty good first week, but I think it will be a bit more frontloaded than the first. So I think it will fall short of 1M. But 500K should be easy after this start now. That's better than I expected.

Eu - US numbers difference makes sense. Hack & slash are a lot bigger as a genre in the US and the Wii U has an installed base almost twice the size of Eu in the US, decent sales this holiday in the US is what might tip lifetime sales into the 500k range imo.



I think it did well for a single platform title. Especially given that the install base is probably smaller than any of those 2 systems at the time the first was released.



Around the Network

I think it will sell around 800k copies LT and will barely surpass the 1 million mark with the digital sales.



It won't reach Doctre's prediction. I'm thinking 750 LT max. Not that bad of sales considering the platform. Expect sales to fall off a cliff in the next few weeks though.

Didn't affect hardware much though, but that was expected.

Yeah, that is why the 1st one sold way more on PS360 and X360 debut week...

Come on people, don't know it will sell 1M or less or how much it will sell, but considering install bases (Vs Bayo1 ont PS360) and the lack of retail copies around the globe, it's done decently so far.



So the game was released on the 24th. Is this only first day numbers?

Yeah... see fleiscr's comment. It also charted in the UK and was on Japan chart for two weeks I think at least.

I looked for it on the main page but its not there. 

I must say however, I dont know anyone in my circle that is playing it or even talking about it for that matter of fact.
